Behind-the-Scenes Stills of upcoming Netflix’s series “Black Knight” Released

Netflix has unveiled behind-the-scenes stills from the filming of “Black Knight” an original series set in a future Korean peninsula where severe air pollution makes it impossible to survive without an oxygen respirator.

The story revolves around legendary delivery driver “5-8” and refugee “Sawol” as they confront the ruling Cheonmyeong Group that dominates the new world.

On the 16th, Netflix released behind-the-scenes stills that showcase the sincere passion and sparkling synergy between the director and actors towards their work.

The revealed stills capture the director and actors’ burning passion as they aim to portray an unprecedented world that has turned into a desert and even controls oxygen after a comet collision.

Prior to entering the shoot, director Cho Ui Seok engages in profound conversations, and the images exude a lively atmosphere with bright smiles that seem to say, “When did we ever have such a fun and immersive time?” once the camera stops rolling.

As it is their first attempt at a series, director Cho Ui Seok commented, “I made efforts to create action scenes worth watching each time and not to neglect the drama. I aimed to produce a work that stands out with various ups and downs, action, and unique charm of the characters.”

The participating actors also shared their experiences during the filming of “Black Knight.” Kim Woo Bin revealed, “It was so comfortable to synchronize with each other, and it felt like we had been a team for a long time.”

Song Seung Heon expressed, “I was proud to work together again after a long time, starting from director Cho Ui Seok’s debut film. We witnessed each other’s more mature side.”

Kang You Seok conveyed his exceptional trust and gratitude towards director Cho, saying, “At some point, I felt that he believed in me and entrusted me with the role.”

Kim Woo Bin added, “Through ‘Black Knight,’I hope to introduce the amazing actor Kang You Seok to many people, and I hope viewers enjoy the new and different sides of Song Seung Heon and Esom.”

Lastly, Esom said, “Expectations can be high as all the actors delivered excellent performances, showcasing the chemistry and synergy of characters living in a dystopian world.”
