‘Dance prodigy’ and YouTuber Na Ha-eun, who boasts 5 million subscribers, is making headlines with her debut in a girl group.
UNCHILD, a girl group set to debut on the 21st, has drawn significant interest as Na Ha-eun, who runs the dance YouTube channel ‘Awesome Haeun,’ is among its members.
Na Ha-eun first gained fame as the ‘Baby HyunA’ at age four on SBS’s ‘Star King.’ She impressed with her perfect rendition of HyunA’s ‘Bubble Pop!’ and shared the stage with HyunA, receiving much affection.
She later appeared on SBS’s ‘K-pop Star,’ drawing further attention.
Operating the channel ‘Awesome Haeun’ with 5 million subscribers, Na Ha-eun actively engaged her audience. She joined SM Entertainment as a trainee, a move that garnered significant buzz.
After two years as a trainee, Na Ha-eun signed an exclusive contract with High Up Entertainment in 2024 and confirmed her debut with ‘UNCHILD,’ releasing teasers.
Na Ha-eun’s transformation with glamorous styling surprised many of her past subscribers and fans, prompting comments such as, “Is she really the ‘Star King’ dance prodigy?”, “She’s become so hip,” “She looks exactly the same, just even more beautiful,” and “It’s amazing to see her challenge herself beyond her 5 million channel.”
