Lee Je-hoon Approaches Match-Fixing Villain with a Secretive Strategy in ‘Taxi Driver 3’

SBS 'Taxi Driver 3'

SBS’s ‘Taxi Driver 3’ features Lee Je-hoon delivering a satisfying blow to match-fixing villains with a unique strategy.

‘Taxi Driver 3’ follows the mysterious taxi company Rainbow Transport and driver Kim Do-gi as they carry out revenge on behalf of wronged victims.

In its third week, the show hit a record viewership and topped the drama and non-drama rankings on the first week of December FUNdex TV issue chart, with accumulated video views exceeding 107 million across SBS’s official SNS multi-channels.

Ahead of episode 7, a teaser reveals Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) meeting villain Im Dong-hyun (played by Moon Soo-young) in a ‘secret room’, stirring curiosity about the background of this encounter.

In episodes 5 and 6, Do-gi and the ‘Rainbow Heroes’ tackled the first case of vengeance entrusted to Rainbow Transport 15 years ago, which was also their only unsolved case—the murder of Park Min-ho from Jin Kwang University’s volleyball team. They uncovered that volleyball team members Im Dong-hyun and Jo Sung-wook (played by Shin Joo-hwan) conspired to murder and secretly bury Park Min-ho, and are now engaging in illegal sports gambling and match-fixing.

Furthermore, an enigmatic man connected to the case emerges, raising questions about whether justice will finally be served to the villains who have eluded punishment for 15 years.

The newly released stills show Do-gi’s surprising actions, capturing interest as he is seen alone with the villain Im Dong-hyun in the ‘secret room’ at a health club, seemingly engaged in a covert strategy meeting. Do-gi’s intense gaze directed toward Im Dong-hyun, radiating ambition and madness, adds a humorous touch.

Additionally, while Do-gi temporarily steps away, Officer Park (played by Bae Yoo-ram), disguised as a policeman, enters the gym and provocatively lingers at the ‘secret room’ entrance, amusingly unsettling Im Dong-hyun. This raises questions about Do-gi’s intentions in approaching Im Dong-hyun and the plan he is carrying out.

In the episode, the ‘Rainbow Heroes’ discover that Park Min-ho’s disappearance 15 years ago is linked to the match-fixing involving Jin Kwang University’s volleyball team, and they plan to use the ongoing match-fixing to find Park Min-ho.

Do-gi is set to manipulate a ‘partnership’ with the villain, showcasing a remarkable and innovative tactic. Anticipation grows for Do-gi’s unprecedented bold character in controlling the villains.

‘Taxi Driver 3’ airs its 7th episode on December 12 at 9:50 PM.
