“Single’s Inferno 5” is set to showcase an unprecedented pool scene.
On January 14, Netflix held a production presentation for “Single’s Inferno 5” at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Attendees included PD Kim Jae-won, PD Park Su-ji, as well as Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex.
Premiering worldwide on January 20, “Single’s Inferno” is a candid and bold dating reality show set on a remote island, “Inferno Island,” where singles must become a couple to escape. Flirting masters, who openly express their emotions, will create dramatic romance and tension. High expectations surround Season 5, which seasoned dating show producers developed.
Asked about the charm of Season 5, Kyuhyun remarked, “While participants on dating programs can maintain a certain image, the individuals this time are truly honest and express their charms without being self-conscious on camera.”
He hinted, “Viewers shouldn’t miss the ‘pool scene.’ There will be an incredibly sexy pool scene that’s sure to captivate you every time it appears. Who knows how many new stars will emerge?”
Dex, an MC from Season 2, also fueled curiosity about Season 5’s pool scene.
Dex commented, “There’s a scene that surpasses my own from Season 2. When people think of ‘Single’s Inferno’ pool scenes now, they’ll likely associate them with Season 5 instead of my scene from Season 2.”
About the “pool scene” legacy, Dex humorously noted, “It’s not about passing it on; it has surpassed mine. I accept it gladly.”
Dex added, “Though I’m biased, having appeared in Season 2, I think Season 5 is more entertaining than Season 2. One might expect participant personalities to become predictable by now, but each season has evolved remarkably. I even anticipate that producers are already planning Season 6.”
PD Kim Jae-won revealed a surprise spoiler. “In the first week, there’s a truth game with a rule that requires an answer to every question, and it created quite a stir. The impact of the truth game lasted until the final day. It’ll be fascinating to watch how that changes the dynamics of ‘Single’s Inferno.'”
Season 5 of “Single’s Inferno” premieres exclusively on Netflix on January 20.
