
Actor Kang Gil-woo delivered a dramatic and compelling conclusion in ‘Made in Korea’, making a strong impact on viewers.
In the latter half of Disney+’s original series ‘Made in Korea’, Kang Gil-woo left a strong impression by perfectly portraying Kang Dae-il, a character constantly torn between Jang Geon-yeong (Jung Woo-sung) and Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin).
The fifth episode saw Kang Dae-il cornered, suspected of being a double agent between Jang Geon-yeong and Baek Ki-tae. Although accused by Baek Ki-tae of leaking smuggling information, he confronted the allegations head-on. He maintained an innocent demeanor while facing fear, creating a tense confrontation with Baek Ki-tae. His unwavering gaze before Baek Ki-tae particularly heightened the drama’s tension.
In the sixth episode, Kang Dae-il’s storyline reached a tragic pinnacle. To protect Baek So-young (Cha Hee), he made an irreversible choice, leaving a strong impression on viewers. Kang Gil-woo vividly portrayed the internal conflicts and desperation of being pushed to his limits, completing an unpredictable storyline and an engaging conclusion.
Meanwhile, through his agency Noon Company, Kang Gil-woo expressed heartfelt thanks to viewers, stating, “I sincerely thank the viewers for their love. It was enjoyable to communicate with everyone through ‘Made in Korea’. I also thank director Woo Min-ho for entrusting me with the role of Kang Dae-il.” He added, “Please look forward to the upcoming season 2.”
