BTS’s comeback performance will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Netflix and HYBE have announced that the ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ will be exclusively live-streamed on Netflix on March 21 at 8 PM.
Taking place at Gwanghwamun Square, a landmark of Seoul, BTS’s concert coincides with the release of their much-anticipated new album, ‘ARIRANG.’ Netflix and HYBE have teamed up to present BTS’s historic comeback stage. During this event, all members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—will perform songs from their new album for the first time. The concert will be broadcast live to viewers in over 190 countries via Netflix.
BTS’s fifth studio album, ‘ARIRANG,’ delves into a profound reflection on the group’s beginnings and identity. Following the album release, BTS plans to embark on a major world tour titled ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ (2026-2027),’ covering 34 regions with 82 performances across Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.

A Netflix feature-length documentary titled ‘BTS: The Return,’ which captures the making of the ‘ARIRANG’ album, will also be released on March 27. Directed by Bao Nguyen, known for Netflix documentaries such as ‘The Swinger: Who Took That Picture?’ and ‘The Greatest Night in Pop History,’ and produced by This Machine, the company behind ‘Martha’ and ‘Karol G: Tomorrow Wars Beautiful,’ ‘BTS: The Return’ highlights BTS’s journey as they make a comeback with a new album after 3 years and 9 months.
‘BTS: The Return’ is expected to intimately showcase BTS’s comeback journey. The documentary will show globally popular BTS, who debuted in 2013, regrouping in Los Angeles (LA) to create music. After a period of individual transformations and collective hiatus, the members face questions of how to restart and how to honor the past while moving forward, as captured in ‘BTS: The Return.’ As global listeners eagerly await their comeback, the documentary offers an intimate and heartfelt look at the creation process of new music that reflects the members’ current selves—a story only BTS can tell.
The ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ set to be broadcast worldwide showcases Netflix’s expanding live programming. This comeback performance marks Netflix’s first-ever live event to be broadcast from Korea worldwide. ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ is expected to join Netflix’s robust lineup of live events, which includes previous broadcasts such as Skyscraper Live, Star Search, Jake vs Joshua, WWE Raw, NFL Christmas Gameday, Paul vs Tyson, Canelo vs Crawford, and Six Kings Slam. Moving forward, Netflix plans to introduce a variety of live lineups to members, including MLB, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and The Actor Awards.
