The seven-character poster for ‘Red Pearl’ has been unveiled.
Scheduled to premiere at 7:50 PM on the 23rd, the new KBS 2TV daily drama ‘Red Pearl’ portrays the intense and thrilling saga of revenge by two women who return with false identities to uncover the hidden sins and truths within the Adel family.
The newly released seven-character poster on the 3rd showcases the intense rivalry among characters who are wary of each other amid significant conflicts of interest. Their uniform black styling, combined with varied expressions and postures, hints at their compelling narratives, creating a palpable sense of tension.
Behind Park Jin-hee (playing Kim Myung-hee and Kim Dan-hee) and Nam Sang-ji (playing Baek Jin-joo and Chloe Lee), who approach the Adel family with hidden identities, Choi Jae-sung (playing Park Tae-ho) commands attention as if seated on a throne. Additionally, Kim Hee-jung (playing Oh Jung-ran), Kim Kyung-bo (playing Park Min-jun), Kang Da-bin (playing Park Hyun-jun), and Chun Hee-joo (playing Choi Yoo-na) add to the anticipation of upcoming intense clashes with their different desires and purposes.
First, Kim Dan-hee, who is preparing revenge while living her sister’s life, reveals her strong will through unwavering eyes. Baek Jin-joo, who appears with a new identity for family revenge, hints at her chilling inner self with a secretive expression. The phrase ‘The saga of revenge by two women uncovering the bloody truth’ particularly suggests an intense ‘womance’ between the two characters, further heightening the tension.
Furthermore, Park Tae-ho, the chairman of the Adel Group, perfects the imposing presence with a cold and observant attitude as the central figure in every incident. His wife, Oh Jung-ran, adds a secretive and precarious atmosphere with a gesture as if whispering.
Park Min-jun, positioned in the middle of the Adel Group’s succession structure, enhances the tension of the melodramatic narrative with his complicated gaze towards Baek Jin-joo, while another successor, Park Hyun-jun, arouses curiosity about hidden stories with an enigmatic expression. Choi Yoo-na, the embodiment of jealousy and desire, solidifies her presence with a firm demeanor, increasing interest in her future actions.
The production team of ‘Red Pearl’ stated, “This seven-character poster visually captures the tension and conflict created when characters harboring their own desires and secrets gather in one space,” adding, “Watch to see what choices and conflicts arise amid relationships where no one can trust each other.”
Meanwhile, the new KBS 2TV daily drama ‘Red Pearl’ is set to premiere at 7:50 PM on the 23rd, following ‘Intimate Ripley.’
