Kim Yoo-jung, Park Jin-young, Kim Hyun-joo, Lee Moo-saeng, Jin Sun-kyu Join Cast of tvN’s ‘100 Days of Lies’ for 2026

‘100 Days of Lies’ has completed its stellar lineup with Kim Yoo-jung, Park Jin-young, Kim Hyun-joo, Lee Moo-saeng, and Jin Sun-kyu.

Slated for the second half of 2026, the new tvN drama ‘100 Days of Lies’ is an espionage romance that chronicles the dangerous and exhilarating love story between Gyeongseong’s top pickpocket, who infiltrates the Government-General of Korea disguised as an interpreter, and the Governor-General’s adopted son, an elite new interpreter. Leveraging the unique premise of an ‘interpreter’ who can uncover truths and secret dealings, the series promises unprecedented suspense and intrigue.

Drama fans are particularly excited about the collaboration of a production team known for consistently delivering high-quality masterpieces. Director Yoo In-shik, celebrated for his warm and excellent direction in hits like the ‘Dr. Romantic’ series and ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo,’ will be at the helm, while writer Ryu Bo-ri, known for delivering profound emotion with her delicate writing in ‘Do You Like Brahms?,’ takes charge of the script.

The synergy between Kim Yoo-jung, Park Jin-young, Kim Hyun-joo, Lee Moo-saeng, and Jin Sun-kyu, who will complete the gripping espionage romance, is also drawing significant attention. Kim Yoo-jung will play ‘Lee Ga-gyeong,’ Gyeongseong’s top pickpocket who becomes an interpreter for the Government-General of Korea for 100 days in disguise. She was diligently saving money to achieve her life goal of going to America when an irresistible offer led her to become an unintentional spy for a patriotic group.

Kim Yoo-jung expressed, “It’s an honor to participate in such a meaningful project. I hope this becomes a warm piece that provides comfort and reflection on history and life for many. Please look forward to it and support us.”

Park Jin-young takes on the role of ‘Sato Hideo,’ the Governor-General’s adopted son and an elite interpreter for the Government-General of Korea. Fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean, he returns to Korea after over a decade with a critical mission. Park Jin-young remarked, “Since it’s a work set against a painful era, I’m approaching filming with extra caution,” adding, “I’ll do my best to make it a meaningful work.”

Kim Hyun-joo portrays ‘Yoo So-ran,’ a sniper from the patriotic group seeking revenge. With a past grudge against Sato Shinichi, she returns to Korea after over a decade with a new identity and a fake marriage with Yoo Philip, and proposes a life-risking deal to Lee Ga-gyeong during her assassination mission against Shinichi. Kim Hyun-joo said, “I’m thrilled to be in a work set in the 1930s,” and “I wish to complete a meaningful work with the actors who showed great chemistry from script reading. Please anticipate a lot.”

Lee Moo-saeng plays ‘Yoo Philip,’ a special correspondent for an American media outlet in Gyeongseong. A member of the patriotic group and a Korean-American journalist, he uses his position to influence the politically sensitive Governor-General. Lee Moo-saeng commented, “Although I’m pondering how to truthfully portray ‘100 Days of Lies,’ I’m more eager to meet viewers soon,” adding, “I’m heading to the set today with that eagerness in mind. Please show lots of support and love.”

Jin Sun-kyu stars as ‘Sato Shinichi,’ an ambitious new Political Administrator of the Government-General and Sato Hideo’s father. Skilled in manipulation and schemes, he is the primary target for the patriotic group. Jin Sun-kyu stated, “I look forward to working well with great actors,” and “I hope this drama leaves a lasting impression on viewers. I’ll do my best to create it, so please pay attention and look forward to it.”

The new tvN drama ‘100 Days of Lies’ premieres in the second half of 2026, promising a profound impact with its breathtaking espionage unfolding within the Government-General of Korea, set during a dark period where independence fighters bravely sacrificed their lives for freedom and love.
