The sixth episode of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama ’21st Century Noble Lady,’ which aired on the 25th, depicted Lee An-gun (played by Byun Woo-seok) proposing to Seong Hee-joo (played by IU).
In previous episodes, the two had a heated argument regarding the progress of their contract marriage, facing a crisis. However, they reconciled after understanding the reasons behind their choices.
Determined to fight without backing down to achieve their desires, they walked confidently arm in arm at a private event, where only invited guests were allowed.
Later, with the attendees watching, Lee An-gun knelt before Seong Hee-joo, saying, “Compared to you, my steps are slow. Still, would you be my wife?”
Seong Hee-joo responded with a smile, and Lee An-gun placed a ring on her finger. Their interaction shocked Yoon Yi-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon) and Prime Minister Min (played by No Sang-hyun).
