Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have both received nominations for Best Acting Awards at the Baeksang Arts Awards, garnering considerable attention.
The Baeksang Arts Awards secretariat announced the nominees on its official website and social media on the 13th.
The judging criteria encompassed terrestrial, cable, and OTT content, along with Korean feature films and theatrical productions released or staged between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.

Among the nominees, both Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin secured spots on the list.
Hyun Bin earned a nomination for Best Actor in the television category for his performance in “Made in Korea,” which premiered on Disney+ last December.
In “Made in Korea,” Hyun Bin portrayed Baek Ki-tae, a character driven by cold determination and unwavering ambition, who uses the state as a business model to achieve ultimate wealth and power. His nuanced portrayal garnered significant praise.
Hyun Bin will compete for the Best Actor trophy against Ryu Seung-ryong (JTBC’s “The Story of Kim Manager from Seoul”), Park Jin-young (tvN’s “Unknown Seoul”), Lee Jun-ho (tvN’s “Taepung Group”), and Ji Sung (MBC’s “Judge Lee Han-young”).

Son Ye-jin secured a nomination for Best Actress in the film category.
Marking her return to the big screen after seven years, Son Ye-jin was nominated for her role in “No Choice,” directed by Park Chan-wook and released last September. She garnered praise for her portrayal of Mi-ri, the wife of Man-soo, who becomes the family’s steadfast backbone after her husband’s sudden dismissal.
Son Ye-jin is nominated alongside Go Ah-sung (“Pavane”), Moon Ga-young (“If We”), Lee Hye-young (“Break”), and Han Ye-ri (“Spring Night”).

Previously, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin made headlines by sweeping four trophies, including Best Actor, Best Actress, and Popularity Awards, at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards held last November.
This marks their first joint appearance at an awards ceremony since their marriage, generating significant anticipation for the couple’s reunion at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
Hyun Bin is slated to appear in “Made in Korea Season 2,” while Son Ye-jin is preparing for the Netflix dramas “Variety” and “Scandal.”
