Fans in Japan showed exceptional affection for TVXQ as the group marked its 20th debut anniversary in the country.

The ‘TVXQ 20th Anniversary LIVE IN NISSAN STADIUM ~RED OCEAN~’ concert took place on April 25 and 26 at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Approximately 70,000 enthusiastic fans filled Nissan Stadium, turning the area red, TVXQ’s iconic color, for their 20th-anniversary concert, which marked the group’s return to the stadium after eight years.

Fans steadily streamed to the somewhat distant venue, where photo zones with large banners of Yunho and Changmin, and trucks adorned with concert posters, drew crowds taking pictures.

Most fans, adorned from head to toe in TVXQ merchandise and red accessories, proudly identified as members of Bigeast, the group’s Japanese fandom. Their Korean fandom is known as Cassiopeia.

Ahead of the 20th-anniversary performance, fans attended not only with friends but also with family, sharing their stories and experiences.

Haruka, 39, attended the concert with her 9-year-old daughter, Sara, and younger sister, Saori, 34, after they took a commemorative photo in front of a truck.

Haruka, a fan since TVXQ’s debut, shared, “I even played TVXQ songs for prenatal education. They remain a beacon of hope and a way of life for us.”

Saori, who has attended all three stadium concerts, expressed her admiration, stating, “They’re so cool that words fail me.”

When asked why she liked TVXQ at such a young age, Sara simply replied, “They’re handsome,” prompting laughter.

Haruka humorously added, “Will you marry me?” She even jokingly expressed her desire to marry both members, including Changmin, who is married.

Sara wished, “Please continue holding concerts in Japan. I love you so much.” Saori echoed her sister’s sentiment, adding, “Marry me too,” maintaining the cheerful mood.

Hazuki, a fan since her school days, declared, “I’ll love them until I die,” and wished TVXQ a long, healthy, and happy life.

Ayumu expressed his appreciation, saying, “I’ve always admired how much my wife values TVXQ. I hope she’ll always love them,” and specifically praised Yunho’s short black hair.
